Top 5 Sandbox-like Games Performance in France Q3 2024

In the third quarter of 2024, sandbox-like games maintained significant presence in the French mobile market. According to Sensor Tower data, the top five games in this category showed diverse trends in downloads, revenue, and active users.

Roblox from Roblox Corporation demonstrated strong performance with weekly revenue peaking at around $381K in mid-August. Weekly downloads surged to over 104K in the week of August 19, while active users slightly declined from 3.6M to 3.2M over the quarter.

One State RP: Grand city crime by ChillGaming saw a notable increase in weekly revenue, reaching approximately $67K by the end of September. Downloads fluctuated, peaking at 27.6K in mid-September, and active users grew steadily, peaking at 62.6K.

ZEPETO: Avatar, Connect & Live from NAVER Z Corporation had a mixed quarter. Revenue decreased to about $13K in mid-September, while downloads reached a high of 22.1K in late August. Active users remained relatively stable, averaging around 145K.

Minecraft: Play with Friends by Mojang showed consistent weekly revenue, peaking at $26K in early August. Downloads rose to 17.7K at the end of July, while active users saw a slight decline, ending the quarter with approximately 285K.

Finally, Block Craft 3D: Building Games from Wildlife Studios experienced a modest revenue, peaking at $666 in early July. Weekly downloads fluctuated, with a high of 16.7K in early August, and active users declined slightly to just below 100K by the end of September.
